AKAThisIsUs (pronounced: ack a this see us), or AKA This Is Us, is a derivative of the term
"Akathisia;" a nasty side effect of anti psychotic drugs. Akathisia, which is Greek for "not sitting,"
is all about movement! This can mean movement on many different levels: the conventional
physical movement of the body, or being moved in one's body and soul. The two symptoms that
caught my attention were:
AKAThisIsUs is the name of our band. AKAThisIsUs is a compilation of professional personnel
and talent that spans over 40 years. This group of talented persons lend their expertise to the
areas of entertainment,,musical collaborations, stage and music productions, and assisting other
musicians.

perform for all ocassions, such as festivals, weddings, plays, casinos, concerts, private parties,
nightclubs, on karaoke nights as individuals, with other groups, or as AKAThisIsUs.
AKAThisIsUs is as few as a trio or as large as a fifteen piece band and show, with a complete
evening of entertainment fitting your crowd.
Finally, our experience (our core group has been together for over 19 years under our former
name, Wellington and Company Band and Show), wide variety of music, professionalism,
